SRE Designs is the design section of Star Rubber Environmental Ltd and the
vision of two like minded individuals, Nat Robertson and Martin Chase.
Both wish to create exciting, high quality, play environments where people
want to be and enjoy themselves while still meeting the needs of customers.
Martin Chase studied Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural College. Following completion of his time at college he ran a successful landscape maintenance firm before moving on to work in local government for 20 years as a play area specialist. Through this work he developed a passion and commitment for inclusive and natural play. He is a great believer in natural play, recognizing that any natural play space has to be able to sustain wear and tear. His experience of managing play spaces allows him to build in sustainability into the design and creation of play environments as well as identify appropriate maintenance.
